HVAC Water Treatment Technician

Description:Summary
Services water treatment contracts and serves as the primary liaison between customer and services provided.
Duties:Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
�Responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment on assigned products; services include water testing, calibrating sensors, chemical pump repairs, control repairs, and minor plumbing repairs when needed.
�Maintains and periodically calibrates testing equipment and tools.
�Tracks job activity by setting up and maintaining job files.
�Provides customer with monthly water analysis reports using Microsoft excel. Reports should include adjustments made and reasoning.
�Identify problems and concerns with water treatment and make corrective actions.
�Prepares information and reports on operations activities as required by management.
�Maintains contact with Resource Coordinator with regards to scheduling, billing and maintenance.
�Identifies and orders materials for ongoing projects.
�Installs water treatment controls and chemical feed pumps.
�Moves chemical pails up to 60 pounds to designated water treatment area.
�Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers as needed.
�Serves customers by answering inquiries and responding to special requests.
�Surveys new jobs to provide information needed for quoting water treatment service.
�Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
Qualifications:Education and/or Experience
Associates degree in HVAC or related field; and 5+ years related experience in HVAC; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

The physical demands of the position include occasional climbing, balancing, twisting, pushing and pulling, frequent walking, standing, sitting, stooping, crouching and kneeling, constant handling, gripping and reaching. Material handling demands include lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 10 lbs., placing the position in the Heavy Physical Demand Classification (PDC). Must be able to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
