| Description: | Summary
Responsible for selling HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and at the parts store; also responsible for vendor sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration.

| Duties: | Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
� Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and over the counter.
� Orders required parts.
� Provides technical support to customers.
� Answers customer calls and identifies parts.
� Coordinates product promotions.
� Loads and unloads shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.
� Receives and processes customer orders.
� Responds to customer's inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or services.
� Responsible for warranty administration on all parts.
� Records changes in inventory status by completing paperwork and updating database as necessary.
� Maintains supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed.
� Delivers parts orders to customer locations or job sites.
� Responds to literature requests from customers.
� Possesses knowledge of the Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.

| Qualifications: | Education and/or Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school in HVAC; and three to five years parts counter or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The physical demands of the position include occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling and reaching; frequent standing, balancing and gripping; and constant walking. Material handling demands include lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 100 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., and constant lifting up to 10 lbs., placing the position in the Heavy Physical Demand Classification (PDC). Must be able to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
